Bara Manon
- Born in 1985
- Lives and works in Brussels, Belgium
Born in 1985 in France, Manon Bara is a multidisciplinary artist currently living and working in Brussels. Her creative universe spans painting, printmaking, and textile art, reflecting her generous, colourful energy and an unrelenting passion for experimentation. Manon Bara explores a wide range of subjects, using each medium as a new language to express her vision. Her work is instinctive yet intentional, blending subtlety and spontaneity.
Alongside her partner Kamal Regbi, Manon Bara co-founded the Queen Kong Gang brand, where garments become canvases—painted, wearable, and entirely unique. For Manon Bara, clothing is not just functional; it is an extension of the body, a second skin marked by patterns, textures, and emotions. From bold brushstrokes to delicate engravings, from recycled materials to raw fabrics, Manon Bara transforms textiles into works of art. The Queen Kong Gang project resists standardisation, celebrating individuality and merging fashion with contemporary art.
